洗毛废水和染色废水性质不同
目前，我国纺织印染工业（包括棉纺印染产品、毛纺染整产品、丝绸产品以及毛纺产品）废水排放执行《纺织染整工业水污染物排放标准》（GB 4287-1992）。由于各行业所用原材料不同、生产工艺不同，各种纺织产品的污水排放执行统一的排放标准，无法体现行业的污染特征和污染控制水平。同时，由于洗毛废水和染色废水性质不同，国家规定洗毛工序废水执行《污水综合排放标准》（GB8978-1996）中相关规定。
